Do you have a news story for Nursing Times? If so, then don’t delay, please contact the news team.

We use multiple sources to develop our news coverage, including relying on the profession and its allies to let us know what is happening so we can share it more widely.

Therefore, if you are a nurse with a tip-off about an issue affecting you, your colleagues or your organisation, which you think the rest of the profession needs to know about, then get in contact.

Likewise, please tell us about any nurse-led innovations, developments or events that you feel might be of interest to other nurses around the country and beyond.

Alternatively, if you are a press officer, communications officer or other organisation representative and want to send us a press release, report or other information, then please drop us a line.

We cannot guarantee that every story, tip or release will be followed up or covered by Nursing Times but knowing about it in the first place really helps us to help you.

However, please bear in mind that it is not our policy to allow people to approve copy or quotes that are used in our news articles or feature articles.

News stories are written by journalists and it is up to their discretion and professional judgement to decide the angle of the story and the quotes and information used.
