Abstract

Cardiac resynchronisation therapy is an intervention used for patients diagnosed with heart failure. Specifically designed leads are placed in and around the heart to increase its pumping function. Providing this form of therapy to patients diagnosed with heart failure can significantly improve their symptoms, resulting in a better quality of life.
