We have asked relevant organisations around the UK to support the Covid-19: Are You OK? campaign.
The healthcare union Unison has signed up to support the campaign through the following statement:
Unison supports the Nursing Times Covid-19: Are You OK? campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the potential long-term impact of working through the Covid-19 crisis on nurses’ mental health and wellbeing (and that of other staff and pre-registration students), and to ensure they have access to sources of formal and/or informal support.

Unison head of health Sara Gorton said: “Working through the pandemic has had a profound impact on staff and on their mental health and wellbeing.
“Now more than ever, employers must promote practices to encourage good mental health and ensure the resources are available to support all staff working in the NHS.
“Unison proudly supports the Nursing Times Covid-19: Are you OK? campaign.”
