▶ Nursing Times Digital Forum: Connecting all stakeholders to optimise digital transformation

This presentation was first broadcast live at the Nursing Times Digital Forum on 4 October 2022.

In this video, Emily Browne presents her experience of connecting all stakeholders to optimise digital transformation, in particular simulation testing, as a case study.

Be inspired by how Staffordshire University was able to involve nurses at all levels in focus groups, demonstrating ideas to qualified and student nurses and getting patient-facing service users to run simulation testing for new products in real-time but safely.

Speaker:

  • Emily Browne, associate dean for innovation and enterprise (interim), school lead for simulation and patient safety, Staffordshire University

This presentation formed part of day one at the first-ever Nursing Times Digital Forum on 4 October 2022.

The virtual event took place for the first time on 4 and 5 October, featuring two mornings of interactive speaker sessions, case studies and panel discussions.

Led by chief nurses, chief nursing information officers and clinical leaders across the NHS, the forum was designed to inspire and support all nurses and midwives to be proactively involved in the digital transformation of acute and community settings.
