Nursing Times Clinical Skills Series

The Nursing Times Clinical Skills Series is a year-long programme of events with regular and free to attend webinars and a two-day virtual conference. It is a place where the nursing profession can connect with like-minded colleagues to share learning, experiences and ideas.

Staying up to date with core clinical competencies is a priority and challenge for all nurse managers, leaders and nurses.

Nursing Times has created this series of events to bring the nursing community together to advance and support clinical skills learning and development.

The content presented across the series of events will help all nursing staff with their need to have a sufficient standard of proficiency to practise confidently, efficiently and safely.

The events comprise a series of free webinars taking place throughout the year and the Nursing Times Clinical Skills Forum, which is back this summer after a successful launch in 2022.

The forum will take place on 6 and 7 June. This nurse-led, virtual event attracts delegates from across NHS, acute, community and independent healthcare providers.

Through a range of expert keynotes talks and interactive discussion sessions, the forum supports organisations that attend in taking forward strategies to keep nurses learning all core skills, as well as ensuring their continuous clinical skills development in practice.

Meanwhile, the webinars cover subjects such as pressure ulcer prevention, urinary catheterisation, infection prevention and control, and medicines management and optimisation.

To find more information on the webinars and forum visit the clinical skills series website.

Nursing Times Digital Series

The Nursing Times Digital Series is a year-long programme of events with regular and free to attend webinars and a two-day virtual conference. It is a place where the growing digital nursing community can connect with like-minded colleagues to share learning, experiences and ideas.

The recent acceleration and adoption of technology in health and care settings means every nurse needs to be digitally competent and embrace the digital world. As nurse leaders, the challenge is to champion and lead digital health initiatives so that there is widespread adoption, resulting in improved nursing practices and patient care.

Take part in our series of events created to help support and inspire you and your nursing staff to embrace digital transformation and unearth opportunities that have a positive impact for patient flow in both acute and community care.

The events comprise a series of free webinars taking place throughout the year and the Nursing Times Digital Forum, which is back this autumn after a successful launch in 2022.

The forum will take place on 3 and 4 October. It is an online event dedicated to the entire nursing and midwifery working force.

Led by chief nurses, chief nursing information officers and clinical leaders across the NHS, the forum is designed to inspire and support all nurses and midwives to be proactively involved in the digital transformation of acute and community settings.

Join nursing leaders for two mornings of interactive speaker sessions, case studies and panel discussions.

Meanwhile, our webinars cover subjects such as patient flow, digital tools for nurse training and development, the Phillips Ives Nursing and Midwifery Review, and virtual wards and remote patient monitoring.
